Flight of the Bumble Bees

Mission:
Chicken Run
Location: DS 5
Timeline: MD 01 of Chicken Run
On the way to where Ace ordered Matilda, Wolf caught up to her. The leanly muscled man, who had an easy gait to him. He slicked back his tawny hair when he saw Matilda. He used to joke that he was a wolf to her. She did wear a red riding hood at times.
"Say Red what do you have cooking in your beautiful mind?" draping his arm around her shoulders.
"Well you know those small very small drones I've been developing. I think its time to use them. Need to put them into a protective pattern, to provide a shielding and prevent any wild life to get in there just in case someone happened to accidentally let them inside and also to make certain we don't have to deal with Voles, those things are really terrible. Gnawing at things that they shouldn't I did detect a... set up to make certain they are not around during my exploration of the jefferies tubes."
"Okay what do your drones look like? Just as long as they don't look like spiders, they would most definitely be swatted and destroyed if they were to be seen." Wolf asked as they walked along.
"Oh don't worry, they won't be mistaken for spiders, they will need the capabilty of flight so-- they will be looking like bumble bees so I will have my own flight of the bumble bees." Matilda giving a laugh, laughing even more as Wolf groaned.
"Are you serious?" one look at her smile and that glint in Matilda's eyes. "Yup you are rather serious" Wolf giving his normal wolfish trademark smile.
"So when do you want to get that started." Wolf lightly stroking her shoulder.
"Now will be the best bet. And make certain that the parameters will be set to differentiate between us and animal life. And we most definitely need to check out the jefferies tubes that connect to the Arboretum and set up that perimeter."
Though part of her wanted to set something up that Ace would get a sting for his previous offront from her bumblebee.Nah... wouldn't be a good idea for now. She'll deal with him later on. There was more of a pressing need to be filled.
"So later on, we can howl at the moon?" Wolf asked giving a wink at Matilda
"Or Bark at the moon." Matilda giving a grin.
"OKay I'll get that set up, have fun storming the Castle" Wolf giving a rather wide smile. "oh and dinner you owe me one"
"Yes I do, and, when that time comes you better come to dinner. Hungry-" she paused raising a red eyebrow towards him."
"Yeah, Hungry like a wolf." Wolf giving out a laugh. He started to move away, paused and two steps he was near Matilda pulling her into a kiss, his lips hungrily moving on hers. Just as quickly as he pulled her towards him, he stepped away.
His kiss had left Matilda breathless.
Wolf gave out a playful howl as he headed off on his way.
Matilda watched him leave, having a slight swagger to his walk, he knew she was looking.
"That man is whole pack of trouble." Matilda murmured to herself.
She made her way to Operations having to dodge around animals gone wild. Looks like they were going to have to take the Zamboni out of mothballs. Matilda laughed at her own joke, well that is what she called the machine to clean and sanitize the floors once this is finished.
Arriving at Operations, Matilda received notification from Wolf. The Bumble Bees were ready to go. With a press of a button, they were sent into the Jerffery tubes to do as was asked. Matilda started humming the Flight of the Bumble Bees watching their progress through the tiny cameras as they swept through, to check for unwanted critters. She guided them through the various areas that only small creatures could get through. Most importantly, protect the Arboretum.
One thing though that Matilda would never do, was use those bumble bees to go spy on anyone. That wasn't how she rolled. Once this crisis was over the bumble bees will go back to their hive. Until such time they would be needed.
